Our history

Wuppertal looks back on and is well-known for its tradition of textile industry.

The company Vaupel & Heilenbeck was established in 1987 and has developed successfully ever since, turning into a synonym of high quality in its sector.

Our linen tapes are woven in our tape weaving department on looms that are almost 100 years old, made of cast iron and solid oak. This gives our linen tapes and ribbons their distinctive and special character.

Our cotton tapes, on the other hand, are woven on the latest automatic looms.

We are also active internationally, represented by our field staff.

Apart from our popular home fair in Wuppertal, we exhibit our products at handicraft and needlework fairs in Cologne and Paris.
